This is image is proof that photographers are not the best editors. This photo sat on my harddrive for over seven years before I presented it to Patagonia Clothing. Pictured here is climbing legend Fred Beckey at Smith Rock State Park. When I took this photo I seriously had no clue who Fred was or his accomplishments were in climbing, I just thought he was an old codger climbing bum. It's funny because I shot this in jpeg format back when I use to shoot Nikon. It is nice to see it in the 2014 Spring Catalog. Hopefully Fred has many more years of climbing ahead of him.
