There are only a few mountain bike magazines standing in the North American realm these days, FREEHUB Magazine is one of them. I think they are still around for a few reasons, one being that it has solid content that is not pretentious. Two; it is not owned by a BS umbrella magazine corporation based in Florida and three the founder / editor actually mountain bikes. :)
So when Freehub approached me about doing a feature for their book about biking in my home state of Oregon it was a no brainer. I took on the Central Oregon trail section of the book which was sweet because it has dusty trails along with loam in some sections. Below is just a little snippet of all the stuff that I photographed on three trails.
