This was a fun assignment with 1859 Magazine, teamed up with writer Eric Flowers to cover a couple fly-fishing areas all over the state of Oregon for their July/August issue. With our pursuit to catch fish there was a lot of driving, camping, eating non-nutritious meals, and staying in the occasional crumby hotel. We had fish on the brain the entire trip. Give it a read.
