Brand of the Brave. Five Ten shoes ran this photo in the brand new Red River Gorge climbing book, not too many people have touched this climb that Greg Garretson is on here. The climb is 'Close Shave' 5.12c on the Monkey Face at Smith Rock, it's runout, exposed & dangerous. We shot this photo towards the end of summer but in order to beat the heat we woke up long before the sun rose.
