| I dug deep into my archives to come up with this photo, it's an oldie and somehow it made it on the cover of Portland Monthly. On the cover is my old roommate at the time, Julie Schreiner. This was just a quick out and back trip to the hot springs in Eastern Oregon. It goes without saying but most of the time travel photos like this make it look way more luxurious and comfortable than it really is, Eastern Oregon is rough around the edges and there are little amenities to be found. Crappy sandwiches and gas, yup. You are pretty much on your own which is why I like it. |
