There is something sobering about taking your first steps into the ocean where there are 30 foot waves towering over your head. Nelscott Reef is a quarter mile or so off the shore of Lincoln City. Getting past the beach break & punching through the waves in a jet ski is one of the more nerve racking things because the potential for disaster is up there in the charts.
