PEW Charitable Trust recent ad campaign featured a couple images that I took of the diverse Gold Butte WSA users. Their goal is to raise awareness about Gold Buttes 345,000 acres that the proposed wilderness encompasses & to have people act on it. This ad ran in the Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas City Life, The View News, Desert Valley Times & the Boulder City Review for several weeks.
In front of the Vegas sign I was competing for a shot against a pseudo Elvis, PeeWee Herman, Marilyn Monroe & newly wed couples. It was very surreal.
