John Day River Basin is a place where the cow population dwarfs humans 20-to-1 and your 100% more likely to see a coyote than a Starbucks. It is in the middle of nowhere and you have to intentionally be heading to John Day to see what it has to offer.
This particular assignment was with Oregon Natural Desert Association , it's always a great little adventure to shoot for them.
