Oregon Natural Desert Association organized a trip with Aaron Kilgore & myself to go on a photographic journey in the John Day region. The first day and night happened to be pretty miserable conditions for camping and getting shots, with sideways pelting rain & snow. But the next day broke out of the clouds and became beautiful day to photograph.

How to get here: Go to the center of Oregon and then face east, go a little ways and you should see it on the right.
